- Orlando East is seeking energetic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Estate Sale Associates. We pride ourselves on being the most friendly and helpful estate liquidators in the business, and we're looking for passionate team members who love helping others and creating exceptional experiences.


About the Role:
As an Estate Sale Associate, you'll play a vital role in transforming family homes into organized retail environments and providing outstanding customer service during estate sales. This unique position offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work in beautiful homes throughout the Orlando area.

Weekday Responsibilities:

  • Stage and organize: Transform homes into attractive pop-up retail environments by strategically displaying items throughout each residence
  • Sort and evaluate: Remove, organize, and assess items from all areas of clients' homes, including attics, basements, and storage spaces
  • Price merchandise: Research and apply appropriate pricing to individual items and item lots using price tags and stickers
  • Create flow: Arrange items logically throughout each home to optimize the shopping experience

Weekend Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude
  • Manage sales operations: Process transactions using our point-of-sale system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle crowd control: Maintain organized shopping flow and ensure customers stay in designated areas
  • Manage cash handling: Accurately process payments and balance registers before and after each sale
  • Data entry: Input customer and transaction information into our POS system

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to learn product evaluation and basic pricing strategies
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation to travel to various locations throughout the region
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules and locations based on client needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience
  • Interest in antiques, collectibles, or home goods
  • Cash handling experience

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule & Locations:

Work locations vary weekly based on client home sizes and the number of concurrent sales.  Most sales will be held in Seminole or Orange County. This variety keeps the work interesting and allows you to explore different neighborhoods and architectural styles throughout the area.
