At Blue Moon Estate Sales, we pride ourselves on being the most friendly and helpful estate liquidators in the business. We look for individuals who are passionate about helping others and enjoy sharing that passion with clients and teammates.

We are seeking team members for part-time work during the week and/or weekends. We’re looking for energetic, hardworking, quick learners to join our team.

In this position, you will assist in the operation of Blue Moon Estate Sales client sales. During events, you should be outgoing, friendly, and approachable on the sales floor. A sales mindset and strong customer service skills are essential, as you will interact directly with customers. You will also assist with restaging items during the event to encourage additional purchases and maintain the flow of the sale.

Over time, you may be asked to act as a cashier during sales events. Efficient checkout is vital, as this area can become a bottleneck. Strong people skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and comfort with numbers are important for success in this role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Interact with customers during sales events
  • Remove, sort, and organize items throughout clients’ homes, including attics, basements, and storage areas
  • Place items in a logical and organized manner throughout each home
  • Stage items for display, creating a pop-up retail shop environment under the Stager’s direction
  • Evaluate and apply price stickers or tags to individual items or lots
  • Manage crowd flow and keep customers out of restricted areas
  • Negotiate pricing during the sale in line with Field Manager direction
  • If assigned, check customers out using the POS system and accurately input item and customer data
  • If assigned, handle cash during the sale
  • If assigned, balance registers before and after sales

  • Ability to work flexible hours and in a variety of locations
  • Locations vary weekly depending on the size of clients’ homes and number of sales
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation

Compensation: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
